Studio A is the centerpiece of GCR audio. The control room is fitted with over ten racks of vintage and modern outboard gear. It features a SSL 4040 G series console, George Augpurger custom mains and a Pro Tools HD4 system. There is a selection of vintage and modern microphones including Neumann, Telefunken, Sennheiser, AEA, Royer, and Coles.The rooms have a fresh, live acoustic feel, particularly in the large tracking room.  It has a large amount of perforated wood surfaced treatment. The control room is spacious and welcoming. Off the main room is a new 50 sq. ft. vocal booth adjacent to the control room. There is also one more 50 sq. ft. isolation booth ideal for guitar cabinet isolation. Tie lines run throughout the facility to access other isolation/recording options and the EMT 140 plate reverb.
