RF101: RECORDING FUNDAMENTALS I
The Recording 101 course presents the fundamentals of sound and how it is recorded. We’ll take an in-depth look at all types of microphones and their practical applications. We’ll examine the signal path from the microphone to the recording device and all the signal processing between. You’ll learn techniques to optimize your recording for voice, guitar, drums, and all the other instrument groups. The course will culminate in two student-run recording sessions where you’ll have the opportunity to apply all of the techniques learned throughout the course.
